The Ring and the Date :)

Ok so here is the ring!! :) We went ring shopping "casually" he said, but his plan was for me to tell him my perfect ring. It was about the second one I tried on and I tried on lots of more but I just fell in love with this one! Very sneaky Bridger. :) We visited Provo this last weekend. Bridger took me and my best friend Sam down there so I could find my wedding dress with my sister. Then he had to drive back to Arizona. He hasn't been able to find a job here in Idaho so he had to go to Arizona so he can start making money and saving. Definitely sad to see him drive off! But we're going to make the time apart as minimal as possible :) Hopefully only a few weeks. I'm going to get a camera and a skype account so we can still somewhat have face to face contact.
We also decided our OFFICIAL WEDDING DATE :) It is March 20th! At the Denver Colorado Temple. Invites will be sent don't worry! Bridger and I :)

So as many of you know we just got engaged!!! Most of you don't know the story so we're going to start at the beginning :).

In September Bridger came up to Idaho from Arizona for his cousin Cory's wedding. He drove up on a thursday. The next day, friday, me and a couple of my roommates decided to go to this dance that they were throwing at the Pest Control place in downtown Rexburg. So we got all cute and headed there.
Meanwhile our friends Andy and Nolan (Cory's cousins on the other side) were trying to convince Bridger to go to the dance. He told everyone he didn't want to go in fear that he would meet a girl down here and that he wouldn't be able to date her because he was headed back to Arizona at the end of the weekend.
Us girls, went to the dance. We went in and it was a SAUNA there were so many people there that you would sweat just standing there. We decided to leave and walk around downtown Rexburg. We walked around, met up with a couple friends and then Andy called us to see where we were to meet up with us.
Bridger had decided to come for the heck of it, but really didn't want to be there. He didn't even go near the dance. He stayed on a curb and called his sister, while everyone else met up with me and my roommates.
When my roommates and I met up with Andy and Nolan and the people they had brought they told me to go talk to the kid sitting on the curb on the phone because he really didn't want to be there. My first response was no, because I thought he was kind of anti social, which is very unlike me. But Sam and me decided to go talk to him just for the fun of it. No skin off our backs if he was weird haha. So we strutted our stuff up to him. He saw us and quickly got off the phone. We started flirting with him, cuz that's just what we do and found out that he wasn't weird at all. He was actually super charming. I was crazy about him after about 2 minutes. I immediately gave him my number and invited him to come lazer tagging with us the next day as my "date".
In his head this whole time, he saw us walking up and immediately liked us. He was thinking that we broke the ice quite nicely but he was particularly drawn to the tall dark haired one. (ME) He really liked talking to us and says my blue eyes drew him in.
We talked, and then decided to go make a bonfire at a campsite called Beaver Dick nearby. We hung out all night. The next morning he called me early and told me to get ready to go bridge jumping with him and his cousins. At first I didn't want to go but decided might as well. Bridge jumping was crazy!! The whole morning we just had fun. It was super relaxing. That night we went to play lazer tag and then went to the dunes to make a fire. He borrowed his cousins quad to go riding. We went to the dunes and he took me out on the quad for my first quad experience. We went to a big hill and star gazed and just talked for a while.
The next morning he had to head back to Arizona. But he was CRAZY about me. He had found a girl that he was crazy about and he wanted to see if anything would happen. So after about a week he decided to move up to Idaho to start dating me. His cousin had an empty room, so he just stayed there. During the next couple of weeks we dated, and fell in love.
In the next couple weeks we visited his family in Arizona, my sister Andrea in Provo, and my family in Colorado.
The night we got engaged :) Bridger had been talking the whole day how he couldn't get the ring that I wanted. I was kind of stubborn and irritated the whole day because I thought he wasn't planning. So we were sitting in the apartment and he said he wanted to go on a drive. I said I didn't really want to go on a drive, I'd rather just stay at the apartments in sweats. But he drug me out of the apartment and we got in the car. He was trying to fill time so we drove all the way to the dunes but they were closed so we drove back. On our way back we stopped by the gas station so he could use the "bathroom"- actually he called Cory. He got back in the car and said that Cory and Danie (his cousins) wanted to meet up with us for a bonfire at Beaver Dick, where we went the first night we met. I didn't really want to go, but he said we should just stop by. So we went and the guys made a fire while me and Danie sat in the car and waited. They made the fire and then we all sat by it. Cory asked if we wanted marshmallows. I said no, but he said that him and Danie wanted them, so they said they were going and they'd be back. While they were gone me and Bridger just sat by the fire and talked. He looked at my finger and said there was an empty spot and that he could fix that. He got on one knee and faked me out by pretending to tie his shoe. (Which irritated me even more because he had been faking me out all week). But then reached into his pocket and told me how much he loved me and how he wanted to spend eternity with me, and then asked if I would marry him. I was so happy I couldn't breath and I tackled him. Of course saying yes. :) And that's it. (It ended up that he did have the ring, my perfect ring) :) We're thinking of getting married in March or April. We'll let everyone know for sure when we know :) We're happy and in love!!
