Update for January

January has been a great month for us! It started out with Bridgers Surprise Birthday Party. I had been planning it for about a month, and I can't believe I pulled it off. Bridger had told me not to plan a party or anything because he didn't want me to worry about it, but I couldn't resist. I planned it for a Saturday before his birthday so that he would be extra surprised :) I told everyone to be there a little before seven, and I was planning on Bridger's dad somehow getting him out of the house so I could set up and that everyone could get there. As it got closer to 7, Bridger's family was just hanging out at our house casually. His brother tried to get him to go take his nephew Thomas on a quad ride, Bridger declined and said that he didn't want to go anywhere. Try one failed. A little bit later his sister Denim said that she needed to go get something from her house and asked if Bridger wanted to come, Bridger declined again. Try two failed. All while this was happening Bridger was in basketball shorts, I asked if he wanted to change because his clothes were a little dirty from working during the day, he declined and said that he was comfortable. All this while I was trying to be subtle and it wasn't working at all. Finally Bridger's dad gave me the look that seemed to say, "Only you can get him out of here". So I gave the decoration supplies to Bridger's sisters and said that I needed to run and grab something from his sisters house, he didn't want to come but he couldn't say no to his wife haha. So thankfully he changed his clothes and we headed off. When we got to his sisters house it was locked but I still had to kill time so I just parked on the side of the street. Obviously at this time he knew something was up but didn't even think that everyone, including our friends, would be there. So after waiting like 15 minutes we headed back home, walked in the door and I shoved Bridger into the bedroom to check if everything was ready. It was, so I grabbed him and he came out and saw all the decorations and people. He was super excited and surprised and it all turned out great! :) We had a blast with all the friends and family that made this night happen. Happy Birthday Boy!! :)
We had fun playing tons of pool.
We had great food, made by Bridger's dad, and tons of snacks!

This last weekend, we went to a cousin's wedding. Before we left we were just hanging out in the car, and Case (Brea and Caleb's baby) does this thing where he reaches out for things. I got this perfect picture where it looks like he is throwing a peace sign, haha awesome.
The wedding was at this really cool old mill, and there was this really cool stream with a bridge over it. Here are some of the pictures that we got.

They matched lol
These last two pictures are to show how hilarious my husband is. I love this guy, and all of his hairdo's. For those of you that know and are around Bridger, you know that his hairstyle changes very regularly. He will go from a shaved head, to an afro in a matter of months. When this picture was taken he decided to go for a mohawk lol. My husband is hilarious, and I love him and all of his hairstyles.
Bottom line is I love this guy to pieces! :)

Christmas in Colorado!

Christmas in Colorado!! I loved going to Colorado for Christmas and seeing most of my family :) I wanted to get there so bad and Bridger was sweet enough to leave after he got off work on Friday at 5. I had a half day at work that day so I got off at 12, and counted the minutes for the next few hours. I love going to see my family, and it is always fun to go and stay in the home I grew up in. Christmas at my parents house just brings back so many childhood memories, and I love it. :) So we left at 5 and drove all through the night. We pulled off the road and slept for about 2 hours until we started to freeze in the car and then kept driving. In total I think it took us about 14 hours, not too bad considering we were going like 70 the whole way to conserve on gas ;) and that we stopped and slept for a while.
The first night we were there we watched Brave in 3D on my parents new sweet TV. Pretty sure Bridger and I fell asleep right away because we were exhausted haha.
This little girl is so cute, I just love her. This is Phoebe (Andrea and Brandon's baby girl). She is adorable. Period :)
As always, we had a blast making treats in the kitchen :)

 Mom and Phoebe :)
On Christmas Eve we have a tradition that we go caroling to families in the neighborhood, and then a couple of old family friends. This is before we went out.

After we go caroling, we go out to a mexican restaurant. We met up with my brother Michael and his family. We ate lots of yummy food and spent time some quality time with the family :)
She is just so cute :)
My parents at Dinner. They are so hardcore they wore their hats all night long :) Way to have Christmas spirit :)
Once we get back from eating we open our christmas eve pajamas. These were ours! :)
 Christmas morning :)
It snowed!!! :) It was so perfect that it snowed Christmas morning so that we could have a white Christmas!

 Family game night!
I am so grateful for my family and all the fun that we have together. It is really hard living away from them, so I love visiting them :) Family is the best! I also love taking road trips with Bridger. It is never a dull moment on road trips and we have so much fun. All in all it was a fabulous trip where I got to see a lot of family, and relax a little bit.

Camping in the Fall 2012

Here is a update for any of you that thought we had dropped off the face of the planet :) Sometime in the Fall before October we went camping up at a cabin in the Graham Mountains. But before we could go to the cabin we had to stop at the fair in Thatcher, AZ Cheyanne, Dalton and Seth were brave enough to try the electric bull. Cheyanne did awesome, and the other did.... alright lol. It was super fun to watch! We had a blast and went on a few rides and then headed up the mountain.

He did a lot of falling off haha. He's still a stud. And I'm sad that I didn't get any pictures of Dalton! But Dalton did good too :)

Up on the mountain, there is this gorgeous lake. It was a little cold up there and we didn't really catch a lot of fish. But we had fun just hanging out by the lake. Here's Bridger and Cheyanne fishing.
Here's part of the lake. I love going up to the mountains, and it was great to spend a weekend away with family
The whole gang fishing it up!
One of the days we were up there we decided to take a little hike to a little stream nearby, when I say little, I mean I didn't realize it was going to be long and not on a path, it was quite the adventure and we finally made it to the stream :) Bridger and his brother Seth found a spot that was like a mini waterfall, they didn't use any fishing poles, just fishing line and a hook (like real men haha). They caught a bunch of little fish. It was very fun to watch them continue to catch fish just by using line and a hook, at least I thought it was cool.
Up by the house, there was a huge pile of wood. So the boys took a little time out of their day to chop it up and make an organized pile of firewood. My husband is such a stud :)
Dustin was the only one that caught a real fish, I believe. He is a real fisherman :)
The last day we were there we went to find some ice caves on the side of a mountain. We found a couple, and if we had had rope we could have gone into some of them farther, but we only went in a little bit for safety. This is one that was just a little cave that we found. Me, Dalton and Gracey.
 Going into the cave.
Inside the cave :)
This picture just makes me laugh :) I love my husband so much, he cracks me up everyday.
This is after the boys worked so hard to clean up the wood pile. I wish I had taken a before picture because it looks a million times better!
My amazing hubby and me on the last day. We had a great weekend getaway and loved spending time with the family.
